Our commitment

Intirear is committed to making AI-powered interior design accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA on the web and to Apple Human Interface Guidelines for accessibility on iOS, both of which exceed the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) and U.S. Section 508.

What we do

• Every interactive control has an accessibilityLabel and accessibilityRole so VoiceOver / TalkBack announces it correctly.
• Tap targets meet Apple's 44 × 44 point minimum via hitSlop expansion for any control rendered smaller.
• All animations respect Reduce Motion. Setting the OS toggle skips entering animations and replaces spring layout with an instant snap.
• Body text scales with Dynamic Type / OS-level text-size settings. We commit to legibility up to Accessibility XXL.
• Color contrast on body copy meets a 4.5:1 ratio at minimum, 7:1 for the brand-foreground combination.
• Right-to-left languages (Arabic) are mirrored at the layout level via I18nManager, not just translated.
• Keyboard and switch-control navigation work end-to-end on the web. Focus rings are visible and never :outline-none.

Known gaps

Honesty matters. We're actively working on:

• Some marketing-site images don't yet have descriptive alt text. Tracked; shipping in v1.1.
• The interactive Before/After slider on the workspace screen is keyboard-operable but not yet exposed to VoiceOver as a custom adjustable role. Tracked; shipping in v1.0.2.
• Native-speaker review of localized accessibility labels in 13 of 14 non-English locales is scheduled but not yet complete. Until then, those labels English-fallback.
