Cookies
& storage.

We keep this minimal — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, ever.
What we use
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use only a handful: some are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and one analytics cookie that loads only if you consent. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads pixels, or any third-party advertising or cross-context tracking technology.
The cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| firebase-auth-indicator | Signals to the site that you are signed in so pages render the correct state. Your actual login session is held in your browser's local storage, not this cookie. | Essential | 14 days |
| intirear_locale_v2 | Remembers the display language you chose so the site loads in it next time. | Functional | 12 months |
| intirear_ref / intirear_ref_sub | Set only if you arrive through a referral or partner link (?ref=). Credits the referrer if you later sign up. Not set for normal visits. | Functional | 30 days |
| intirear_utm | Set only if you arrive through a campaign link (?utm_source=). Remembers which campaign brought you here; reported to us only if you sign up AND have accepted analytics cookies. Not set for normal visits. | Functional | 30 days |
| _ga / _ga_* | Google Analytics (GA4). Distinguishes visitors so we can measure aggregate, de-identified usage. Loaded ONLY after you press “Accept all” in the cookie banner. We send GA only redacted page paths (resource IDs stripped). | Analytics | Up to 24 months |
We also use your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember your cookie-consent choice and small UI preferences (for example whether you've seen a tutorial). These never leave your device.
Analytics & your consent
Analytics cookies load only after you choose “Accept all” in the banner shown on your first visit. Choosing “Reject non-essential” means Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookie is set. Your choice is remembered on your device; clearing your browser storage will show the banner again so you can change it.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may sign you out or break parts of the app. Questions about this policy? Email privacy@intirear.design.
